5. E10194055 Zespol Szkol Nr1 im. prof. B. Krupinskiego Poland

The young copper industry, developed in the early 1960s, needed qualified personnel, which is why in 1962 a decision was taken in Lubin to establish mining schools. As early as September 1963, young people could begin their training at the Escola Básica Mineira and at the Escola Técnica Mineira para Trabalhadores. According to previous provisions, the Complexo Escolar Mineiro received its name, permanent headquarters, employees and even a dormitory and cafeteria on September 1, 1964, and it was from that moment that it was founded. The opening of new schools was an event for the city. The Technical Mining School of the Ministry of Heavy Industry, the Basic Mining School of KGHM and the Technical Mining School for Workers of KGHM were established.

Since the beginning of its existence, the school has been developing dynamically, as evidenced by the ever-increasing number of students. In 1963, the team had 207 students, a year later there were already 723, and in the third year of teaching, 1,303 people studied in 44 classes. Today we have more than 1,500 students in 55 classes.

Along with the changes in teaching profiles, the name of the school also changed. On September 1, 1972, the Technical Mining School KGHM in Lubin was created, and a year later, on October 30, 1973, it was named after Professor Bolesław Krupiński. The 1990s brought an expansion of the educational offer. On September 1, 1990, the 3rd Secondary School began its activity. Three years later, the Legnica Board of Education changed the name of the school to the Lubin School Complex. Currently, the school is called School Complex No. 1 in Lubin. In addition to the main building, the school also has a sports hall and workshops. Both the inhabitants of Lubin and young people from the outskirts of our city attend the school.

The miners' festival is solemnly celebrated at the school - the traditional Barbórka. Students have the opportunity to learn about Minas Gerais customs, including the famous skin jump, illustrating the custom of accepting young people as brothers from Minas Gerais
, and hear the school fanfare perform.

Young people studying at the school have been participating in projects abroad for many years. Already in 1974, a group of students left for the Soviet Union, in 1988, as part of an international exchange, we participated in trips to East Germany and the United States, and in the 1990s to France. In recent years, we have joined the European Comenius and Leonardo da Vinci programmes. As part of the programs, students have the opportunity to travel to all EU countries.

Despite the passing of the years and the many changes, the unique environment of the school, vibrant with life, building the traditions of the mining profession, following the spirit of the times with technical solutions, forming the technical intelligentsia, which permanently associates its promotion with Copper belt, survivor

6. E10048117 Colegiul National de Informatica "Carmen Sylva, Romenia

"My high school, this high school from Petroşani, it seems to me that in the statistics of 1939 it was among the smallest high schools in the country, it produced on average about 12-18 graduates per year [...] And at the famous baccalaureate in Deva I remember , our high school competed with complete success, the high schools in Orăștie, Deva, Brad" (I. D. Sârbu)

"At the age of 100, the school is not too old, yet at 75 years the high school is not too old, but this high school has been tested a lot, the high school par excellence of the Ji Valley and even of some neighboring counties, by those who have passed its threshold , was abandoned year after year by disciples and teachers. Others took their place, taking him - we are convinced, now on the anniversary - to unsuspected heights. Testimony are those who took flight from its benches, learned to scrutinize the secret of the decades and to talk with the wise men of the world" (Gheorghe Ana)

.
The history of our college begins in 1894, when - on the initiative of some intellectuals from Petroșani - a gymnasium was created that functioned in the current headquarters of the Petroșani Sports School Club. A few years later, in 1908, the gymnasium became a state high school.

On September 25, 1919, the first class taught in Romanian in this area was established in the high school, whose graduates became prestigious people of the country.

Throughout its existence, the school went through a series of title changes: mixed theoretical lyceum, mixed middle school, general culture lyceum, mathematics-physics lyceum.

Finally, in 1977, the high school was approved for the INFORMATICA profile, which means the establishment of the sixth high school with this profile in the country. The name of the high school was later changed to High School of Mathematics and Physics Petroșani.

In 1990, the name of the high school was changed again, the assigned name being the Petroșani Informatics High School.

In the fall of 2010, following some administrative reforms that also targeted education, the "Carmen Sylva" Petroșani General School entered the structure of the Petroșani Informatics High School, so that the newly created institution offers the possibility of following school courses in preschool, primary, secondary and high school

Known until 2006 as General School no. 6 Petroșani, upon the completion of 40 years of existence, the name of the school was changed to "Carmen Sylva" Petroșani General School, in the presence of His Majesty King Mihai I of Romania and His Majesty Queen Ana.
